Jake Byrom

Lead Vocal / Guitar

Jake Byrom is a New Zealand-born Performer and Writer.

Jake’s theatre credits include Saturday Night Fever (West End, UK & international tour); Musicals: The Ultimate Live Band Sing Along (UK Tour); Speakeasy (UK Tour): Pride and Prejudice (New Vic Theatre); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (US Tour); Camelot (London Palladium); Jersey Boys, (The Court Theatre, New Zealand) and The Buddy Holly Story (Issac Theatre Royal, New Zealand). 

He has also worked regularly as a musician in Tribute bands such as Creedence Clearwater Reimagined (UK Tour) Summer of Love (UK & International Tour), and he often plays with 50’s Rock n’ roll band The Boulevards. 

He has also provided Musical Direction & arrangements for A Long Night In London (South Hill Park) and The Barden Party’s Productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Much Ado About Nothing (US & NZ Tour), as well as workshops of his own musicals as an up-and-coming musical theatre composer and lyricist currently on the BML course. Most recently a workshop of one of his shows was presented at the Union Theatre.
